I am 47 year-old practising physician went to Haridwar as a part of pilgrimage trip. When I was climbing up hill, I had chest discomfort, I rushed to the nearby hospital and did investigations which revealed severe Left ventricle dysfunction. I came back to Chennai immediately and did coronary angiogram which revealed blockage in the main blood vessel supplying the heart. I met Dr. Srinath/ Dr. Senthil Kumar, Cardiothoracic surgeons, they advised me to undergo emergency coronary artery bypass grafting surgery. I underwent off pump Coronary artery bypass grafting without any complications and got shifted to ICU. I was in ICU for two days and in ward for three days.
