Mr. Mohammed Faizel Khan M, has been associated with us for more than 12 years, He handles and oversees the day-to-day operations, administrative functions, and clinical coordination our department. This role ensures efficient delivery of patient care, optimal resource utilization, surgical scheduling, quality compliance, and multidisciplinary coordination, working closely with surgeons, nurses, perfusionists, and other allied health professionals. 

He educate patients and families about the overall cost of transplantation, including pre-transplant evaluation, surgery, ICU stay, post-operative care, and follow-up

Discuss payment options, insurance coverage, and out-of-pocket expenses in a transparent and compassionate manner

Guide patients through the financial implications of long-term immunosuppressive therapy and routine follow-ups

Verify insurance eligibility and benefits for transplantation procedures and Ensure all pre-authorizations, approvals, and documentation are completed prior to admission or surgery.

Liaise with the hospital’s billing department to generate and track transplant-related invoices

Assist in submission of claims, follow up on approvals, resolve claim denials, and ensure timely reimbursements.

Maintain accurate financial records and reports for each transplant case

Help patients identify and apply for financial aid through charitable trusts, NGOs, crowdfunding platforms, or government grants.

Maintain detailed records of cost estimates, patient discussions, insurance claims, and financial consents

Ensure compliance with hospital policies, ethical billing practices, and legal requirements

Oversee the planning, staffing, and coordination of all administrative activities in the CTVS & HLT department 

Prepare and manage departmental budgets, procurement of surgical supplies and capital equipment.

Maintain accurate records related to surgeries, outcomes, staffing, and inventory

Monitor patient flow, waiting times, and ensure timely admission, discharge, and surgery processes

Handle patient complaints or grievances and provide solutions in consultation with medical staff

He does strategic planning, regulatory compliance, team leadership, patient care coordination, and collaboration with transplant surgeons, physicians, and support staff.

The role ensures safe, ethical, and efficient organ transplantation across all phases — from referral and evaluation to post-transplant care and follow-up.

Work with finance and billing departments to oversee cost estimates, package pricing, and insurance coordination.

Develop strategies to increase transplant volumes, improve outcomes, and expand services

Organize awareness campaigns, organ donation drives, and community engagement events

Build relationships with referring hospitals and Doctor referrals

Ensure smooth scheduling and coordination of cardiothoracic and vascular surgeries with the operating room, ICU, anesthesia, and diagnostic departments.

Monitor pre-operative and post-operative workflows to enhance patient safety and clinical efficiency

Act as the point of contact for coordination between CTVS, cardiology, radiology, ICU, and administrative departments.

Monitor patient flow, waiting times, and ensure timely admission, discharge, and surgery processes

He manages our Outpatient department and all our patients data 

He is our SPOC for all the appointment for both Cardiac Surgical and Transplant cases
